about

Inspiration:
In March of 2019 I released my first single known as "Fem i nyanlända islänningars sugrörsmaskin". It was inspired by Samla Mammas Manna and Frank Zappa and is one of my personal favourites.

I thought about making a sequel to the track while also playing with the idea of what Scandinavian folk music would sound like with a complex time signature when they are usually written in 2, 3 or 4.

The title of this track is directly translated to "The Seven-time Polska" and not is this song a seven time song, it also switches back and forth between A minor and A major.

This is part of an 11-minute epic with three movements.

Influences:
Väsen, Samla Mammas Manna, Kaipa, Kebnekajse
